Established in 1803, The County of Columbiana was named after Christopher Columbus. Statistically, this county is made up of 535 sq. miles of land and water and runs from the Southern portion of Mahoning County to the Ohio River, East Liverpool area. From the East Liverpool area you can reach the Pittsburgh International Airport in approximately 35 minutes and downtown Pittsburgh in approximately 50 minutes. Designated as part of the Appalachian Region, it’s noted for its pristine beauty and quaint towns and villages and numerous scenic and historic landmarks. The City of Lisbon is the seat for the County with other notable Cities such as Salem, Columbiana, Leetonia, and East Liverpool also located in this County.
